Breve Historia del Museo - Brief History of the Museum: Linden-Museum Stuttgart, founded in 1911, is one of the foremost ethnographic museums in Europe. It was founded by the “Wuerttemberg Association for Commercial Geography” and is named after his founder Graf Karl von Linden (1838 - 1911). Since 1973 the museum is operated by the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the City of Stuttgart.

Descripción del Museo - Museum's Description: The Linden Museum is the only ethnological state museum in Baden-Wuerttemberg, and regards itself today as a living venue for intercultural dialog and a meeting place for an increasingly culturally diverse city; furthermore, it identifies itself as a guardian of important attestations of world heritage. The museum presents in both its permanent and special exhibitions the diversity of the world’s cultures, and seeks to sensitize the visitor as to the importance of process in culture.
Horario de atención - Customer Service Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm / Sunday and Bank Hollidays 10 am - 6 pm (special exhibition additionally on Wednesdays 10 am - 8 pm) / closed on 24/25/31 December and Good Friday
